Fabulous Marianne
How gorgeous are these? I've been waiting to post them, since they're some of my favorites. All scanned by me from issues of FABULOUS magazine. Enjoy!
Stop me if you've heard this comparison before, but more and more I'm seeing parallels to the fictional character Bridget Jones?
Is it just me, or is BJ ultimately just a spin-off or "updating" of Marianne? Wouldn't be the 'first' time writers felt there was enough distance to do a re-write on a character. Could it be that Marianne holds reflections for 'all' British women? Past and present?
